TAP Architects, an award-winning Edinburgh studio, designs homes, housing, and other projects. They also conserve and repurpose historic structures. Founded in 2009, the RIAS-chartered practice prioritises collaboration to create unique designs.
Collaborating closely with TAP Architects and their design consultant, we were tasked with developing a website that reflected their unique design philosophy. This involved implementing a complex grid based layout using ExpressionEngine, leveraging its category functionality to achieve randomised grid placement for a dynamic visual experience. The project also included upgrading their existing ExpressionEngine CMS to the latest version.
The resulting website provides a visually striking and engaging platform to showcase TAP Architects' award winning work. The complex grid design, powered by ExpressionEngine, creates a dynamic and captivating user experience, effectively communicating their architectural expertise and design capabilities.
